At Buchannan Street Station

See those static people

Standing at the door

They are there every day

Each week showing pamphlets

All year standing there

 

See the dosser begging

Across from the static folk

Holding out his grubby hand

One day I hope it might happen

That Jesus will cross the street

 vagrant
